"Tengo ganas de celebrar mi cumpleaños. Creo que el equipo tiene algunas cosas planeadas. Está bastante bien celebrar un cumpleaños durante un fin de semana de Fórmula 1, así que no me puedo quejar. Vamos a asegurarnos de que haya tarta y lo vamos a celebrar un poco, pero tenemos un fin de semana importante por delante, así que estaré completamente centrado en la competición. Es nuestra última carrera antes del parón de verano y quiero seguir la buena racha en Budapest".
"Obviamente es un circuito en el que no hay mucho tiempo para respirar con tantas curvas apretadas. Parece un circuito de karting grande. A todos nos gustar pilotar allí porque creo que el piloto tiene más que decir que en otras pistas. Hungría es un circuito en el que no te puedes relajar en ningún momento. Hay una recta que no es demasiado larga y tras eso es una continuación de curvas. Respiras profundamente en la recta y luego respiras de nuevo porque hay mucha acción durante la vuelta. Las curvas no son tan lentas, son para tomar en tercera o cuarta. No es como Mónaco, que se toman en primera y tienes que bloquear completamente el volante. Hungría tiene un sector de curvas que fluyen, sobre todo en el segundo sector, así que no creo que sea como Mónaco. Hungría siempre tendrá un lugar especial en mi corazón. La primera victoria en Fórmula 1 siempre es algo que está bien para el equipo, en Renault siempre hemos sido competitivos allí, así que tengo buenos recuerdos. He tenido resultados buenos en Hungría, el más importante en 2003 cuando conseguí mi primera victoria de Fórmula 1. También he conseguido algunos podios también y la Pole en 2009 estuvo bien. Siento que el equipo está mejorando todo el rato, sobre todo tras el rendimiento en Silverstone, donde ambos coches terminaron en los puntos, así que esperamos otro fin de semana bueno".
"Lo hice bien en la clasificación al sprint y aproveché al máximo mi salida, adelanté bastantes coches en las primeras curvas. Luego la carrera del domingo fue dura y se me hizo larga. Ejecutamos una carrera buena y también la estrategia, sumamos bastantes puntos para el equipo. Estuvo bien ver a los aficionados en las gradas y fue un extra. El resultado significa que tengo que seguir haciendo el track walk en Budapest y probablemente haga mucho calor".

"I am looking forward to the birthday celebrations. I think the team have a few things planned too. It’s quite nice to be celebrating a birthday at a Formula 1 weekend so I can’t complain. We will be sure to have some cake and celebrate a little bit, but we have an important weekend ahead, so I’ll be fully focused on racing. It’s our last race before the summer shutdown and I am looking to continue our good form in Budapest."
"I’m looking forward to it. Obviously, it’s a circuit where there isn’t much time to breathe with lots of tight corners. It feels like a big go-kart circuit. We all love driving there because I think the driver has a quite a bit more input than some circuits. I’ve had some good results in Hungary, most notably in 2003 when I took my first ever Formula 1 win. I’ve also scored a few podiums too and the pole position in 2009 was good. I feel like the team is improving all the time, especially after the performance at Silverstone where both cars finished in the points, so we’re hopeful of another good weekend."
"It will be interesting to see what the fans thought of the new format as, at the end of the day, it was designed for them, but I did like that there was action on all three of the days. I did well in Sprint Qualifying and made the most of my start, overtaking quite a few cars around the first few corners. Then the race on Sunday was tough and felt very long. We executed a very good race and strategy, scoring some more points for the team. It was nice seeing the fans in the grandstands and it really added to the occasion. The result means I have to continue doing a track walk in Budapest, which will probably be a hot one!"
